Greenwood Township is a civil township of St. Clair County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,373 at the 2000 census. == Communities==

A post office was in operation from March 1881 until March 1959. Fargo is an acceptable name for the Avoca ZIP code 48006.〔(ZIP Code Lookup ), United States Postal Service〕 * Greenwood Centre was a historical settlement near the center of the township.
